What does the course include?

• Basic construction, names of components and the purpose and use of all controls and gauges
• Use of the operator’s handbook, etc
• Pre-use start, running checks and close-down procedure
• Preparing the machine for site travel
• Travelling the machine over different terrain including rough, undulating ground
• Travelling up and down substantial inclines
• Manoeuvring through chicanes and limited clearence spaces in a forward and reverse direction
• Precautions and actions for overhead services and other hazards
Lifting loads
Lifting live loads and off centre of gravity loads
Strapping loads ready for travel
Unloading loads into different radiuses
• Placing the Machine in an out-of-service condition

With this course we offer 4 levels depending on your experience.

• Beginner (5 day)
• Intermediate (3 day)
• Experienced (1 day am training test pm)
• Test Only
